Diversity Day

Diversity Day is a one-day event for students in Fourth Grade to promote awareness and acceptance of physical and learning disabilities. Through a variety of educational and fun hands-on experiences, the children gain an understanding of the daily challenges of coping with a disability that may now or someday impact one of their peers, and they come away with a positive attitude about such differences. Volunteers are needed for planning and organization, setting up on the day of the event, and working at the various stations. Coordinate a station, help with decorations or paperwork – Diversity Day offers something for every volunteer! Diversity Day is generally held in November.
